Who We Are

Kiwanis is a worldwide service organization appealing to people with a desire to be personally involved in making their community a better place to live.

Our Kiwanis Club of Cape Fear was organized in 1960 and is one of more than 7,000 clubs in over 80 countries.

We:

  • Are not a luncheon club, but believe in good fellowship
  • Are not a religious organization, but believe in God
  • Are not a benevolent organization, but believe charity
  • Are not a patriotic organization, but believe in America
  • Are not a fraternal organization, but believe in brotherhood
  • Are not a political organization, but believe in good government

As a service organization, we are not any of these things separately; and yet, we are all of these things combined.
